Characteristics
GiANO HR is the CBCT that provides users with a complete range of 2D and 3D scans for dentistry, maxillofacial surgery, ENT and investigation of the cervical spine.
-
Maximum comfort and safety
Designed to ensure comfort and safety, it includes a self-adaptive machine-patient positioning system that uses three laser guides and, optionally, cameras.
Moreover, outstanding ergonomics and short emission times simplify clinical tasks, ensuring images are always aligned.
-
Sensor and generator
A high-frequency generator with a small focal spot optimises scans, minimises exposure and ensures fast workflows, even with examinations performed at close intervals, without any overheating of the monobloc.

Configurations
GiANO HR has been developed on a modular platform that can easily be updated. The device is available in three configurations, making it perfect for a range of specialist needs:
Configurations
GiANO HR has been developed on a modular platform that can easily be updated. The device is available in three configurations, making it perfect for a range of specialist needs:
- 3D Prime suitable for general dentistry
- 3D Advance with specific scans for ENT, airways included
- 3D Professional for scans of the entire maxillofacial district and cervical spine.
GiANO HR generates volumes with FOVs from 4 x 4 cm to 16 x 18 cm: accurate scans for every diagnostic need, with a resolution of up to 68 μm, the highest on the market.
Direct Conversion Detector
The direct conversion sensor can raise the already ultra-high imaging quality of GiANO HR even further.
-
2D precision
With the Direct Conversion Detector (DCIII) option, users can obtain high-quality 2D panoramic images and perform cephalometric/body scans, whatever the treatment scenario. The Cadmium Telloride (Cd-Te) DCIII sensor does not require conversion of X-rays into visible light as it can sense it directly and convert it into precise, accurate digital signals.

Patient safety

-
SAFEBEAMTM (patented)
Automatically adapts the irradiated dose to each patient's anatomical characteristics, reducing the possibility of an excessive dose. -
ECO Scan
This mode - recommended for routine scans, such as surgical follow-ups and macro-structure analysis - delivers volumetric images with fast scans (minimum 3.6 seconds) and an extremely low dose for patients (minimum exposure just 0.9 seconds). -
REGULAR MODE
Returns high-resolution 3D images, perfect for primary diagnosis and treatment planning. -
BEST QUALITY
Offers exceptional detail, resulting in the best, uncompromising, high-resolution images on the market.
Patient positioning
Procedures are simplified and images are always aligned thanks to self-adaptive on-patient machine positioning with three laser guides, the optional Multimedia Pack camera systems (camera + intercom) and the FOV Vision Pack, which adds a second camera to align and select the most suitable 3D field of view size directly on the patient.
